From our director

Director’s Message

After Post-Primary teaching career spanning (30) years, the Lord helped me to aspire to inspire young minds and to touch their young lives positively forever.

This dream was fulfilled on 3rd May 1999 when Tassia school opened its doors as an Early Childhood Centre.

In 2003, the Primary School section of the school was established.

In 2010, the first batch of K.C.P.E (Kenya Certificate of Primary Education) candidates sat their National primary school examination.

Up to 2017, the school has been offering the 8.4.4 School Curriculum, which is ongoing in class 4 to 8 and ended when the last K.C.P.E was done in 2022.

In January 2018, the C.B.C (Competency Based Curriculum) was introduced and is being offered in Pre-Primary 1, 2, and Primary Grade 1, 2 & 3. We also offer out of the curriculum experiences to three (3) year olds.

In both systems, our primary goal is to allow every child an opportunity to develop their full potential in all spheres of their life and to do so in an environment which is safe and as friendly as it can possibly be.

Tassia school is managed on principles of Christian values and co-exists as one loving family regardless of culture, race or creed.

It is my humble belief and desire that what is being done now, will transform each child’s future for the best.
